They will come in a quite colorful group \u2013 wearing their bright <\/span>Kihnu<\/span> attire, carrying their instruments with them, putting on comfortable tied shoes for dancing and already on the way here, singing to warm up their voices. All that for celebrating the Baltic Heritage Festival \u00e0 la <\/span>Kihnu<\/span> together with the people of the continent. They will pack handicrafts and delicacies from local craftsmen with them for the participants to enjoy and take home. If you wish, they will also teach you how to braid ribbons <\/span>the <\/span>Kihnu<\/span> way<\/span> or how to pronounce some overseas words or expressions.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> If you want to get a crash course in being a Mulk, come to the Mulgi Cultural Space! Experienced language enthusiasts can boast their ability to converse in the Mulgi language, put themselves to the test in language exercises and browse books. Beginners could start with Mulgi language workshops.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the area of Mulgi handicrafts, you will be able to just look around, buy handicrafts to take home with you, and participate in workshops – embroider and decorate tote bags with Mulgi patterns with cloth markers, weave yarn ribbons and braid ribbons for the Estonian national costume. Local instrumental music will be performed by the group K\u00f5lavad Karmo\u0161kad, the bravest listeners will even be able to choose their favorite song from the list.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> There will of course be a lot of singing and dancing of Mulgi song games that no one will find too complicated to participate in. The embassy will also host workshops where you can learn the V\u00f5ru language, try your skills in handicrafts, and with the help of VR glasses, even experience a real smoke sauna. We will surely sing songs in V\u00f5ru language, sample food and drink, and occasionally play some musical instruments.
